Friends of Tonga has been in communication with the CEO of MORDI Tonga Trust. They were able to provide us with the following photos (despite the difficulties with internet connection). These photos show their teams providing critical services to the village of Kanokupolu, which was severely impacted by the tsunami.
We are proud to partner with MORDI Tonga Trust who are actively providing water, sanitation, and hygiene services (W.A.S.H.) to the most vulnerable communities impacted by the Hunga-Tonga Hunga-Ha’apai volcanic eruption.
We consider ourselves (and will always consider ourselves) a support to Tongan led and community driven initiatives like these.
